An Analysis on the Decision Theory of “Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games postponed for one year”

Abstract: From the aspects of decision-making process, decision-making basis, decision-making influence and relevant measures, this paper sorts out the pros and cons of the IOC in the decision-making process of "Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games postponed for one year". This paper analyzes the influence of this decision on the consolidation of world sports calendar, the reconstruction of sports organization relations, the realization of Olympic vision, and the compensation for the interests of international organizations, and points out the possibility of realizing in-depth exploration in the dialogue between sports governance and public management of the sports academic research in the post-COVID19 era.
