Abstract: The article explores the logic and realization of the operation and management of the opening and closing ceremonies of large-scale sports events by means of documentation, interview and logical analysis. It is found that the logic of the new development concept leading the operation and management of the opening and closing ceremonies of large-scale sports events is to take the propositional transformation of perception guiding practice at the macro level as the logical starting point, to take the process of operation guided by the five concepts at the meso level as the logical connecting point, and ultimately to take the solution of the real problems guided by the new concepts at the micro level as the logical ending point. By analyzing the successful operation and management of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, the 31st Universiade in Chengdu, and the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, the study concludes that the operation and management of the opening and closing ceremonies of large-scale sports events guided by the new development concept is to uphold the new development concept in the input of resource elements, to carry out the new development concept in the process of value conversion, and to explain the new development concept in the realization of the opening and closing ceremonies. It is hoped that this study can provide reference for the opening and closing ceremonies of future large-scale sports events.
