Abstract: Based on the methods of documents and dialectical logic analysis, this present paper proposed that Wushu, as a game of "Yi", is the relational existence of the attack-and-defense contradiction, and is manifested as the human-environment relationship (including instruments, topography, etc.), thus building up the "Shen"-"Yi"-"Qi" hierarchical narrative pattern, in which the primary level of "Yi" ensures the harmony of the body, the intermediate level of "Yi" motivates the spirit in critical state, and the senior level of "Yi" perfects moral cultivation as well as the aesthetic body gestures of "regular, running, drunk, soft, powerful, unique". Interpreting the cultural connotation and hierarchy of "Yi" in Wushu helps people to understand the Wushu culture, promoting the practitioners to develop self-care through the harmonious connection with all creatures.

Key words: Wushu, Yi, relational existence
