Abstract: This study retrieves Olympic-related vocabulary from the Google Books corpus (1900–2019) to analyze the evolution of key figures, Olympic legacies, organizational structures, Olympic Games, and international sports federations. The findings reveal that the influence of International Olympic Committee (IOC) presidents peaks during their tenures. Olympic legacies exhibit a polarized developmental trajectory, with the Olympic Torch Relay demonstrating more intuitive symbolism and superior promotional outcomes. The IOC’s dominant role within the Olympic organizational framework exerts an absolute impact on the movement’s progression. The 2012 London Olympics generated the most significant Olympic effect, offering innovative insights for post-Games development. Among international sports federations, the tennis federation exhibits relatively higher social influence and exemplifies an exemplary developmental model. Supported by precise big data, longitudinal and horizontal comparative analyses clarify the developmental characteristics and trends of Olympic-related figures, legacies, organizations, and Games, enriching research perspectives and methodologies while illuminating the century-long evolution of the Olympic Movement.
