Abstract: Based on the methods of literature review, Delphi and questionnaire survey, this paper constructed a model of physical education teachers’ curriculum ideological and political teaching ability, which is composed of five 1st-level indicators: cognitive ability, resources mining ability, design ability, implementation ability and reflection ability, and 26 2nd-level indicators, then determined, based on the model, the basic measurement dimension, the practical measurement dimension and the evaluation feedback dimension. It is hoped that this study can help improve physical education teachers' curriculum ideological and political teaching ability and the construction of physical education curriculum ideological and political teaching.
