Research on Chinese Physical Education Teachers' Knowledge: Theme Evolution, Hot Spotlight and Research Prospect

Abstract: In order to understand the current research situation of physical education teachers' knowledge in China, to explore its development and process, and focus on its main research hotspots and trends, the author used CiteSpace to make visual analysis of the 195 Chinese articles collected from CNKI, and compared with the research on physical education teachers' knowledge in foreign countries. The results showed that the research on Chinese physical education teachers' knowledge is on a rising trend, and has undergone three stages: knowledge structure, professional knowledge and ability, pedagogical content knowledge (PCK); currently, the main focus is physical education teachers' PCK, knowledge transfer and CK. However, There are still gaps in the depth, practicality and specific fields of teachers' knowledge and education between China and foreign countries; The research objects are not specific, showing initial signs of diversification; the research theory applied, mainly transplanted from the field of education, is single and lacks overall consideration; The research methods employed continue to evolve, but need to be further improved; in the future, more attention is needed to ensure the specificity, systemicity, and sustainability of the research on physical education teachers' knowledge.
