Abstract: The analysis of the evolutionary process of artistic sports from the correlation of motivation, mode, law, and relationship shows that the changes of social environment, school physical education reform and beneficiary's(students) needs are the factors influencing the evolution. The evolution of artistic sports takes 3 modes: resource-dominant, technology-dominant, and culture-dominant. The evolutionary process presents the "wave" of gradual evolution, mutual promotion and diffusion.The relationship among school, students and artistic sports is "socially and ecologically dependent". Judged from its concept, developmental direction and trend, the future development of artistic sports will follow the ideology of being student-centered, harmony-based, and broad-skilled, while stressing quality and ecological balance", and evolve towards the trinity mode of "return"and "expansion"and "innovation".
