Abstract: The Physical Activity Rating Scale, Multiple Happiness Questionnaire and the Scale of Perceived Social Self-Efficacy were used to investigate 382 college students in Guangdong province. The results show that: (1) There are significant differences in physical exercise, psychological happiness and social self-efficacy between genders;(2)The scores of psychological happiness and social self-efficacy in the low exercise group are significantly lower than those in the middle and high exercise groups;(3)Physical exercise has a positive predictive effect on psychological happiness, and social self-efficacy plays a mediating role in explaining psychological happiness through physical exercise. This suggests that schools should take effective measures to encourage more students to participate in physical exercise, improve college students’ social self-efficacy and psychological well-being.
