Abstract: The existing relief model for campus sports injury faces the challenge of failing to respond to actual problems effectively, as it is judicial in nature and has some weaknesses. Based on an evaluation of its weaknesses, new de-judicial relief models have emerged in Shanghai, China and Japan, in which social security funds play an important role. In view of the practical situations in most areas in China, a diversified relief model for sports injury should be formulated, which can combine the advantages of both the Shanghai model and the Japanese model, and that of tort law relief, social security funds and insurance.

Key words: campus sports injury, diversified relief model, accident relief funds, "de-judicial"
