Abstract: By means of logical analysis and factor analysis, this paper defines the meaning, significance, elements and task of physical exercise self-management and constructs its basic framework, aiming to provide a reference for the practice, service and guidance of physical exercise self-management. Physical exercise self-management is an activity to self-regulate one's physical exercise behavior to achieve his/her exercise goals. It is a key step towards the realization of scientific exercise and national fitness campaign quality engineering. Its task is to give full play to the role of each decisive element to make the practitioner to enjoy the benefits of physical exercise. Its core task is to cultivate people's physical exercise habit. The basic framework of physical exercise self-management consists of goal system, element system, testing and evaluation system, and service system.
