Abstract: Based on the sociological theory of "social self", the paper attempts to constructa good relationship between "individuals" and "social self" in the process of developing leisure sports in the individualized society so as to promote the development of leisure sports. The study suggests that: the development of leisure sports relies on the good interaction of personal development and social norms. In doing so can individuals be effectively controlled, regulated and inspired through laws, regulations and social norms and moralities both psychologically and behaviorally and become the "social self" in the real sense. This will in turn promote the development of leisure sports, and achieve the good interaction of leisure sports development and social progress eventually.
