Abstract: The paper looks back at the 'yesterday' of the researches on college sports associations in China by scanning the number, the publication time and the main contents of the previous researches. It systematizes the achievements and examines the problems by adopting documentary analysis as the main method. It further expounds the appearing background of college sports associations, discusses the question of how to define college sports associations and analyzes the future development direction, the legitimacy confusion for such associations to mingle with society so as to provide references for the "Today" and "Tomorrow" of the related researches.
