Abstract: Based on the various newspapers and periodicals, and with reference to the background of the development of Chinese society in the early 1930s, this present paper sorted out and analyzed the outbound visits of Liangjiang Women's Basketball Team by the methods of historical research. The results show that the outbound visits of Liangjiang Women's Basketball Team met the needs of the development of Chinese society at that time, promoted the country-to-country exchanges of basketball culture in East Asia and Southeast Asia, demonstrated the spiritual outlook of the new Chinese women, and strengthened the communication and friendship with the people of relevant countries, meeting the expected goal of outbound visit of folk sports.
