Abstract: This study aims to analyze the characteristics and differences of urban residents' leisure sports spatio-temporal behavior so as to understand their different levels of leisure sports behavior and needs. In terms of leisure sports behavior characteristics, residents of different types in Shanghai present various characteristics in space, time and consumption level, and difference in choice of leisure sports behavior modes. but also showing sports and leisure needs differentiation.Under the background of promoting equalization of public sports services, it is necessary to change the way of service supply, give full consideration to residents'diverse and different leisure sports needs, and improve the effectiveness of sports service space supply.
