Abstract: The development of traditional national sports in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics needs new cultural positioning and perspective, thus it can help raise cultural awareness in carrying forward Chinese excellent traditional culture, and confirm the existence of traditional national sports. The self-confidence toward our culture in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation can help form self-judgment on the promotion of traditional national sports and the cultural self-improvement in the construction of a strong socialist culture will definitely motivate the construction of traditional national sports.
