Research on and Enlightenment of Passport for Life in Canada

Abstract: Passport for Life is a physical literacy assessment system to aid physical and health education teachers to foster in students an active, healthy lifestyle that will last a lifetime. Passport for Life includes assessments of active participation, life skills, movement skills and fitness skills. Passport for Life is currently designed for children from kindergarten to grade12. By introducing the background, development orientation, elements and implementation of Passport for Life, three measures are put forward for China based on national students health standard: improving the content, indicators and subjects; expanding the scope of applied objects; optimizing the assessment methods.
