Abstract

Abstract: Through literature review and rational analysis, the present paper inquire into the substantial development of Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). Research suggests that the substantial development of CBA,based on its history, status quo and developmental trend, can been divided into three stages, i.e. the development as a sports administrative department, the development as a career association,and the development as a non-profit community association. Currently, CBA is in its second stage. Based on the analysis, the author proposes both the path and policy to promote the further development of CBA.
