Abstract: The paper adopts literature method to explain the classifications, the existence location and the origin of brown fat as well as the browning of white adipocytes. It analyzes the mutual reaction and physiological function among PGC-1 α,Irisin and PRDM16 , which are the therapeutic targets related to the browning of white adipocytes. The paper then investigates the signal pathway of the exercise-induced browning of white adipocytes. In addition, the paper predicts future researches and prospects in this field.
