Abstract: The paper researches Taijiquan’s aesthetic characteristics, the forms and cultural connotation in order to understand its aesthetic elements from its name, structure, shape and posture. The paper intends to appreciate Taijiquan’s aesthetic thoughts and cultural connotations by analyzing its pursuit of tranquility from movements , feminine beauty and curve beauty.
