Abstract: NORAXON TeleMyo 2400R and motion graphics analyzing system software are adopted in the research to comparatively analyze the subjects' myoelectric characteristics and the working mechanism of muscles when doing sprint practice, with the result showing that the myoelectrical contribution of wheel running and intermediate running is similar. The vastus lateralis muscles and vastus medialis muscles indicate significant differences in the phase of back-tread movements of the supporting leg in back-tread running and sprint intermediate running. There is significant difference of the contribution rate of the vastus lateralis muscles and the semitendinosus in the phase of the swinging leg's touchdown in high-leg running and sprint intermediate running. As a result, we should strengthen wheel running, improve high-leg running and depend on back-step running with caution in training.

Key words: sprint intermediate running, specialized training of running, electromyography
