Abstract: The construction of new countryside is one of the important strategic measures to promote urban-rural integration and urbanization process in China. Based on the investigation and research of the sports public service system and community sports activities in Longhua Community in Chengdu, the paper explores the establishment of the diversified and socialized rural community sports public service system which is led by the government and mainly driven by social service centers. The paper suggests the following countermeasures establishing the financial security mechanism, strengthening the training of community sports personnel, combining local characteristics and inheriting folk culture so as to promote the diversified development of community sports activities.
