Abstract: Objectivethe paper is to study the effect of swimming with increasing intensity and inhalation of compound traditional Chinese medicine on the aerobic capacity of rats. Methods:32 Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group(S), traditional Chinese medicine inhalation group(M), training group(T) and training+TCM inhalation group(TM).The testosterone, maximum oxygen uptake, hemoglobin and hematokrit were detected before and after the increasing load swimming training for 8 weeks. Results(1) T group's testosterone, maximum oxygen uptake, hemoglobin and hematokrit were significantly higher than those in group S after 8 weeks. (2) TM group's testosterone, maximum oxygen uptake and hemoglobin were significantly higher than those in group T after 8 weeks. ConclusionCompound Chinese medicine inhalation is able to promote the recovery of sports fatigue and athletic ability.
