Abstract: From the micro perspective of international sports shoe patent, the paper focuses on the classification of patented technology to try to measure the generic technology of sports goods as well as the variation trend of such technology by means of metric analysis, which testifies the convenience, objectivity and feasibility of co-occurrence analysis based on patent bibliometrics in measuring generic technology. The paper calls on the government to attach importance to the further research of generic technology and to assume the role of the main supplier of generic technology so as to provide effective support for the future development and technical structure adjustment of sports goods industry.
