Abstract: In order to promote the implementation of the concept of green sports space construction and realize the coordinated development of national fitness and green ecology, this article analyzes through entropy weight evaluation, coordination degree model (D index), Moran's I index and Markov chain the temporal-spatial characteristics, agglomeration effects and evolution mode of coordinated development of national fitness and green ecology in 31 provinces (2011-2015). The results show that (1) the coordination degree of national fitness service and green ecology presents four types: low-level coordination (I), barely qualified coordination (II), primary coordination (III) and intermediate coordination (IV); (2) the coordination degree of national fitness service and green ecology evolved in a wave shape over the years with significant differences between different provinces (D=0.05 ~ 0.80) and significant differences between the western, central and eastern regions (p﹤0.05); (3) there is a regional spatial correlation in spatial coordination of national fitness service and green ecology, while the spatial agglomeration effect is not significant (only 4 provinces reach the H-H type). Conclusion: (1) national fitness and green ecology in China don't present coordinated development trend and green sports spaces in provinces have no strong link so far; (2) strengthening the construction of green sports space, especially that of green sports space in urban areas is an important way to expand people's participation; (3) planning urban green space and installing fitness facilities are an important measure to transform the evolution mode of national fitness and green ecology.
