论近代中国体育转型的本质意义

摘要： 采用文献分析法,重新认知近代体育转型的本质意义以及与中国古代体育形态的不同特质,并探询促成近代体育体系建立的社会历史动力。主要结论:近代中国体育逐步从古代的民间民俗活动向社会公共事业转型,民族危机局势下注重公众体力的身体观,加上日益强化的“公权”意识,激活了社会公共竞赛活动和体育场馆建设,这是一个与公民社会相适应的体育模式,代表了社会发展的本质指向,为我们今天的体育公共服务体系奠定了雏形。

Abstract: By means of literature analysis, the paper re-cognizes the essence of the transformation of modern sports and the different characteristics of sports forms in ancient China in order to explore the social and historic force that promotes the establishment of modern sports system. Main conclusion: modern Chinese sports experiences a gradual transition from ancient folk activities to social and public undertakings, focusing on the concept of public physical body in a national crisis, and coupled with increasingly enhanced awareness of "public rights". This activates social and public sports competitions and the construction of sports venues, which is a sports mode compatible with civil society and represents the nature of the social development.
