Abstract: On the basis of literatures and archaeological discoveries, the research believes that the wide-spread need of archery talents turns archery sport into an important part of school education contents in the pre-Qin period. Under the background of "Learning in the Government", a complete set of relatively mature standards were established around archery education in schools, which not only promotes the healthy development of the archery sport schools, but also leaves a unique cultural heritage of archery education to later generations.
