Abstract
As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era, the acceleration of educational modernization and the construction of a robust education system have set new demands for the reform and development of school physical education supervision in China. Using research methods such as literature review and logical analysis, this study examines school physical education supervision from an informatization perspective. Based on clarifying the connotation of informatization in school physical education supervision, it aims to analyze the functional mechanism, practical challenges, and implementation strategies of informatized physical education supervision in the new era, thereby providing a theoretical foundation for its transformation. The study identifies several key challenges: insufficient integration with modern information technologies, uneven progress in informatization, limited diversity in data analysis methods, and a need for enhanced information literacy among supervision personnel. To address these issues, the following measures are proposed: accelerating the development of supervision platforms and professional teams while improving support mechanisms; advancing the construction of management systems and establishing dedicated positions to refine the management framework of school supervision; optimizing management processes and transforming operational methods to enhance the execution of physical education supervision; and equipping supervision teams with qualified professionals in accordance with laws and regulations to strengthen the personnel mechanism. These steps are essential for implementing informatized school physical education supervision effectively.
