"World-class" and "Chinese characteristics" are the fundamental requirements for the construction of "world-class universities" and "first-class disciplines". The article concluded by reviewing the development experience of universities in P. R. China that the golden age of university reform and development will only appear in the "special era" of national reform and development. The "Double First-Class Initiative" is a major strategic decision to meet the needs of national development, especially international competition in the new era, which means that universities including sports universities have ushered in a new golden age of reform and development. In view of this, the present paper took as an example Chengdu Sport University's reform measures in recent years of seizing opportunities, promoting reforms, building platforms, and strengthening party building to revisit the theory and practice of constructing "world-class universities with Chinese characteristics", and proposed the development ideas of adopting comprehensive measures to improve the conditions for running universities, comprehensively enhancing universities' capability and level of governance, discourse right in the industry, and competency in the disciplines.

"WoMen's sports" is a very attractive research topic at present and for a long period of time afterwards, and it is of positive significance to summarize and reflect on the current situation and existing problems in the research of woMen's sports in China, in order to promote the in-depth research of woMen's sports in China. Since the 1980s, academics began to pay attention to the issue of women and sports, and achieved certain results, but there is still much room for improvement. Compared with other fields of sports science, the number of literature is a little inferior, reflecting that "woMen's sports" is still a marginal field in sports science; from the point of view of research subjects, there is a lack of stable researchers in China's woMen's sports research field; from the point of view of research content and research horizons, a kind of "woMen's sports" is generally presented. The tendency to be "coarse" and "superficial" and to neglect to dig deeper into individual, specific details.

This paper provided a comprehensive analysis of the historical development of curricular models in American physical education through a literature review in five areas: societal background, philosophies, policies, national physical education standards, and definition and components of curriculum. We concluded that the development of American physical education curricular models has been largely determined by various forces occurred in society at different times since 18th century. Especially since the late 19th century, a tremendous growth in American Physical Education Curricular models occurred as a result of the establishment of inter-collegiate competitions and many other social events such as civil rights movement, playground movement, and academic discipline movement. The development of fitness for life, sport education, play practice, teaching personal and social responsibility, adventure-based learning , and cooperative learning model was situated in various societal factors at different times. Each curricular model has its own unique goals and can be used to address one or two national standards. There are some implications for the development of curricular models in Chinese school physical education. First, we should foster an inclusive climate to promote the development of various curricular models to address different national standards. Second, it is recommended that we employ physical literacy as a framework to guide future development and reform for curricular models in China. Finally, any development of new curricular models should be guided by theories and address issues and concerns in today's society in China. And to timely develop the experimental version of "healthy physical education curriculum model" could create historic opportunities for China's physical education curricular models development to catch up with or even surpass the world's first-class.

    2020, 46 (6):  67-73.  doi: 10.15942/j.jcsu.2020.06.011
    Abstract ( 702 )   PDF (1120KB) ( 631 )   Save
Contest performance is an important engine to build a healthy China and promote the in-depth development of sports industry. One of the important reasons why the scale of China's contest performance industry is difficult to expand is that contest performance and sports media have not yet formed a good mutual benefit and win-win situation. Based on the theory of industrial symbiosis, this paper tried to study the symbiosis between China's contest performance and sports media. The research pointed out that although there is a symbiotic relationship between contest performance and sports media, it presents a real state of low degree of symbiosis, asymmetrical symbiosis and mutual benefit, and poor communication of symbiotic energy. In order to promote the future development of symbiosis between the two industries, we put forward some concrete suggestions on improving the mechanism of symbiosis, promoting the association of symbiosis, unblocking the interface of symbiosis, and developing the model of symbiosis, so as to achieve the symbiotic state of symmetry and mutual benefit which can satisfy the demands of symbiosis unit.

Based on the theoretical research on participation motivation, sports commitment, participation satisfaction and continuous participating intention of winter sports, this paper constructed the influence mechanism model of participation motivation and participating intention. By applying the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), this paper ran a hypothesis test on the survey data of eight indoor and outdoor skating rinks and seven ski resorts in Beijing. The results showed that: in the four dimensions of participation motivation, intellectual motivation and competence-mastery motivation has positive correlation with sports commitment while negative correlation exists between the social motivation and sports commitment. Among all these, the competence-mastery has a stronger influence on sports commitment than others. This analysis also indicates that only the stimulus-avoidance motivation, among the four dimensions, has a significant positive impact on sports commitment, while sports commitment has a significant positive impact on participation satisfaction which in turn has a significant positive impact on the continuous participating intention.

Expanding sports consumption is an important engine for both promoting the high-quality development of sports industry and consolidating consumption-driven economic growth. This paper analyzed the logical context of expanding sports consumption and its development orientation, finding that sports consumption culture needs to be further developed, sports consumption and entertainment consumption are in homogeneous conflict, sports consumption policy systems are inconsistent, and residents' ability to afford sports consumption is on the rise, while the upward trend is hindered. It is argued that to expand sports consumption under the background of economic transformation, China needs to improve sports consumption policies and measures, focus on opening up new sports consumption areas, identify sports consumption market segments, guide rational sports consumption concepts, promote high-quality development of sports industry, and to promote sustainable sports consumption.

Objective: To explore the effect of coronavirus on cardiopulmonary fitness and muscular fitness in infected patients, and to provide basis for the later exercise rehabilitation of patients with new coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19). Methods: PubMed, Web of Science, CNKI and other databases were used to search existing published domestic and foreign related literature on the relationship between coronavirus and patients' cardiopulmonary fitness and muscular fitness, according to the non-randomized Newcastle-Ottawa scale. (NOS) Perform quality evaluation on the included literature, extract relevant information from the literature, and conduct a comprehensive analysis of systematic evaluation. Results: A total of 23 articles were included. The average score of NOS in 22 non-randomized studies was 6.9, and one randomized controlled study had a low risk of bias. The results showed that the patients' cardiopulmonary fitness and muscular fitness indicators were lower than those of healthy people after discharge. The patients' cardiopulmonary fitness gradually recovered within 3 years after discharge, but the maximum oxygen uptake (VO2 max) did not fully recover within 3 years, and the 6-minute walking distance (6MWD) did not fully recover within 1 year. The patient's muscular fitness index grip strength, sit-ups, and push-ups were lower than those in the healthy group 2 weeks after discharge. Exercise intervention can significantly improve patients' VO2 max, 6MWD, grip strength, sit-ups and push-ups. The number of patients diagnosed and hospitalized days were significantly related to grip strength and 6MWD. Conclusion: Coronavirus can cause damage to cardiopulmonary and muscular fitness in patients with infection. Cardiopulmonary fitness and muscular fitness are increasing after discharge, but it still takes a long time to fully recover. Changes in cardiopulmonary fitness and muscular fitness in patients were affected by factors such as the number of days diagnosed and the length of hospital stay.

Using the methods of expert interview and entropy, this present paper analyzed the state and failure predicament of Chinese Men's Basketball Team at the 2019 World Cup by analyzing the offensive and defensive index data of Chinese Men's Basketball Team and the world's top six teams. The research showed that Chinese Men's Basketball Team's competition strength has declined significantly, and the gap between China and the world's basketball powers is increasingly widening. Chinese Men's Basketball Team lacks the technical and tactical style of "integrity, quickness and flexibility, high intensity, and shooting accuracy". The main predicament that Chinese Men's Basketball Team faces is inadequate offensive ability. In view of the above-mentioned state and predicament, this present paper proposed the following solutions: (1) adjust the mode of "double national team" and determine the future development direction; (2) adjust foreign aid policies and replace foreign aid forces with endogenous resources; (3) resume the original aim of the CBA body test to enrich the body test content; (4) broaden the channels of reserve talent cultivation to build the foundation for the sustainable development of Chinese Men's Basketball Team; (5) pay attention to the coach selection system and team building, and the coaches cultivate themselves from both internal and external aspects.
