    2013, 39 (5):  66-69.
    Abstract ( 674 )   PDF (257KB) ( 1813 )   Save
Depending on Chengdu young consumers' individual demand as the independent variables, product attitude as the dependent variables, perceived quality and sentimental value as the meta variables, the paper takes advantage of the structural equation modeling to construct the model of Chengdu young consumers' purchasing intention of sports brands. The paper also examines the influence of young consumers' individual characteristics and the specific variables(perceived quality and sentimental value) of products on the intention of choosing local or international brands. The research finds that the sentimental value is the first factor that influences the consumers' intention of purchasing either international brands or local brands. The consumers can positively influence the perceived quality and sentimental value of international sports brands but negatively influence those of the local sports brands. Individual demand plays a positive role in the attitude toward international sports brands.

The paper depends on literature materials to analyze the sports nature of social dancing and reveals its correlation with the connotation of sports. The research believes that social dancing is similar to sports in that they do not have any purposes at first but only exist in the presentation of human behaviors. From the perspective of the dominant character, both sports and social dancing are of the same characteristics of being healthy, sunny and civilized, but it seems that social dancing is more casual while sports is more standardized in terms of cultural consciousness. In the aspect of body building and social activities, social dancing enables college students to establish correct values in their campus life filled with interactions between the two genders, so it has the value of physical education.

Research on the Factors Influencing the Speed of 400m-Hurdle Women Athletes
    LI Hong-Tu,DAI Yong
    2013, 39 (5):  79-83.
    Abstract ( 706 )   PDF (368KB) ( 1790 )   Save
Using mathematical statistics, the paper analyzes the time and speed parameters of the world elite women 400m hurdle athletes to explore the law of the time features and speed changes. The research indicates that the speed from star to the first hurdle and the speed of the home stretch demonstrate a significant negative correlation and the excessive acceleration during the start period constitutes one of the reasons of the hypodynamic sprint. There is a kind of shifting relationship between the maximum speed, the ability to maintain the maximum speed, the stability of speed, the biggest decrease rate of speed and the utilization rate of the maximum speed between hurdles. one of the important technique factors to give a full play to the speed level is to reasonably control the maximum speed during the acceleration period and the maximum speed between hurdles, and to maintain the stability of the speed rhythm during the whole course. There is correlation between the changes of stride frequency and other important speed indexes between hurdles. The changes of stride is he main factor influencing the changes of the speed between hurdles while the ability to maintain stride frequency serves as an important factor to maintain overall speed between hurdles.

Mild Increases in Rats Skeletal Muscle ER Expression of Molecular Chaperoneand Improvement of Glucose Metabolism by Endurance Trainingand Moderate Caloric Restriction
    XU Liang, et al
    2013, 39 (5):  84-90.
    Abstract ( 733 )   PDF (1438KB) ( 1806 )   Save
Purpose The purpose is to study the effect of endurance training and moderate caloric restriction on the molecular chaperone of endoplasmic reticulum in skeletal muscle and glucose metabolism. Methods 37 SD rats were divided into silent group(S), diet-silent group (DS), training group (T) and diet-training group (DT) to undertake swimming endurance training by increasing load, during which the D group's food intake was only 70% of the normal groups for four weeks. RT-PCR and western blotting were adopted respectively to detect skeletal muscle ER, stress protein GRP78 and the mRNA and protein expression of ORP150. Blood glucose(BG), fasting serum insulin(FINS), plasma glucagon(GLU), the glycogen(Gn) of quadriceps femoris, hexokinase (HK), and the activity of pyruvate kinase(PK) were also detected. Results (1) training and diet as well as training+diet mildly increased GRP78 and ORP150 mRNA (+ 24% to 43%, P > 0.05) and protein expression (15% - 15%, P > 0.05); (2) training and diet significantly reduced body weight and body fat while training + diet displayed more obvious effect; diet significantly reduced silence BG, training + diet significantly slowed BG's recovery; training and diet significantly reduced the level of FINS while training+diet reduced it more. Diet significantly increased insulin sensitivity (ISI); Training and training +diet largely increased HK's activity and training +diet obviously increased the Gn content; the expression of GRP78 and ORP150 mRNA exhibited significantly positive correlation and so did the protein expression of ORP150 and ISI followed by Gn and HK. Conclusion 4 weeks of increasing load swimming endurance training and moderate diet mildly increased the expression of skeletal muscle/ORP150 GRP78, the possible reason of which might be the reduction of BG and its low level of free sugar. Endurance training and moderate diet improves the sugar metabolism of skeletal muscle and endurance training combined with moderate diet could produce better effect.
