Abstract: Depending on the methods of literature, interviews and mathematical statistics, this paper analyzes 47 P.E National Quality Courses selected from 2003 to 2010 from the perspective of their regional distributions, faculty construction, resources construction, recourse display and utilization as well as the changes in the assessment index system. The result shows that there are still some possibilities for improvement. Based on the analysis of the current situations, this paper proposes some measures for the transforming and upgrading of P.E Quality Courses in order to promote the course team building, the integration of existing quality course resources, the design of teaching materials and supporting resources, the building of sharing mode and the construction of evaluation system.
