Research on the spatial distribution characteristics of sports intangible cultural heritage in China and the republic of Korea in the new development stage

Abstract: Standing at a new historical stage, literature, comparative analysis, GIS spatial analysis, and other research methodologies are used to evaluate the spatial distribution characteristics and population of Chinese and Korean sports intangible cultural assets.The comparative benefits of China and the republic of Korea’s sports intangible cultural heritage in the new development stage are realistically reviewed by the influence relationship between density, regional economy, and geographical environment.Intangible cultural heritage related to sports in China exhibits a high core density circle and three secondary core density circles, which are associated with aggregation distribution characteristics; in contrast, intangible cultural heritage related to sports in Korea exhibits a high core density circle and a secondary core density circle, which are associated with dispersive distribution characteristics.Overall, factors like population density, regional economy, and physical environment have a big impact on how the intangible cultural heritage of sports is distributed spatially in China and the republic of Korea.According to the study, the intangible cultural legacy of sports in China and the republic of Korea is undergoing a process of practice, investigation, return, and change in this new stage of development.In order to adapt to its new development, it is vital to address the unfavorable conditions caused by significant variables including population density, regional economy, and geographic environment.Needs for progress.
