Abstract: The transformation and upgrading of industrial structure is the key issue in developing sports industry in China. In view of industrial development dilemmas such as low level of modernization of industrial system, slow evolution of industrial structure optimization, unreasonable external structure, and severe path dependence, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to analyze the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure and promote the high-quality development of China's sports industry. Aiming at meeting the diversified social needs, high-quality development of sports industry in China should be driven by innovation. To optimize the structure of sports industry, measures to be taken include: allocate sports industry resources through market mechanism, reform sports industry development system mechanism, optimize sports industry policy, and change the concept and mentality to cultivate industrial development atmosphere.
