Abstract: Using logic research method and literature research method, the paper analyses from the perspective of historical sociology the social changes and the reconstruction of athletes life order since the Reform and Opening up policy. The research suggests that: the reconstruction of athletes’ life order under the perspective of social changes is a process of dynamic change. Since the Reform and Opening up policy, social changes as an important presentation of social history process of China, promoted the break and reconstruction of athletes’ life order; while the break and reconstruction of athletes’ life order are the important parts and external presentation of social changes, and are the results of self adjustment of athletes as a particular group. The interaction between the changes of the group’s life order and other social changes promoted the adjustment of social system-related policies. The booming of self value has been the inner drive for the reconstruction of athletes’ life order since the Reform and Opening up policy; "social elite" and "disadvantaged group" are different social expressions of athletes’ life order reconstruction during this period.
