Abstract: The Olympic spirit guides the development of modern Olympic movement, but the development and inheritance of the Olympic spirit is faced with such interfering factors as politics and money, which leads to the alienation of the Olympic spirit. The paper believes that in order to effectively develop and inherit the Olympic spirit we need to profoundly understand the connotation of the Olympic spirit, undertake Olympic education, enrich and develop the characteristics of cultural diversity of the Olympic spirit.
