Abstract:
Using the methods of literature review, instrument measurement, questionnaire and mathematical statistics, this paper analyzed the status quo of Mass Sports in Tibetan Plateau Areas of Gansu Province. Based on air pollutants and meteorological index data from eight monitoring stations in Tibetan areas of Gansu province and National Standards, the paper conducted an environmental scientific analysis of the collected data. The results showed that: mass sport exercise in concentrated exercise periods in Gansu Tibetan areas, Indexes SO2, NO2, and PM10 all excess the normal standards in varying degrees, and wind speed, humidity, temperature, and pressure affect the human body workout. Recommendation: the relevant functional departments should strengthen the monitoring on air quality, offer guidance for the masses on doing physical exercises scientifically, choose appropriate physical exercise periods and develop appropriate exercise prescription.
