Abstract: Large sports venues are the important carriers of sports industry development which serve as the important guarantee to meet the needs of both competitive sports and fitness and mass cultural and recreational activities. Large sports venues are generally faced with the problems of fund shortage, monotonous operation approaches and low utilization rate. The performance management has long been the bottleneck that affects or even restricts the efficient operations of such venues. The paper, based on field survey and analysis, establishes the performance evaluation system for large sports venues and suggests a performance evaluation method based on FAHP.
