Abstract: The NCAA has always had its unique concept since its establishment. As one of the events, basketball has the characteristics of independence in setting up the rules because everything is separated and independent from the rules committee, rules and regulations, gender separation to refereeing systems, which has led the world basketball trend in some aspects, thus influencing professional basketball to some extent. The paper analyzes NCAA’s basketball rules so as to discuss its independence and influence and this will provide references for China’s college basketball development.
