Abstract: A deep understanding of the practical basis of the sports development path with Chinese Characteristics is required by theoretical researches as well as the innovation and problem-solving in practice. The study finds that practical basis of Chinese sports development demonstrates the characteristics of multi-levels and multi-dimensions, which involves not only the factors of Chinese economic reform but also those of Chinese governing system. It is closely related to Chinese social structures and modern development of Chinese traditional culture.
