Abstract: The paper takes “Firewoks Grabbing Game” as an example to research its origin, development, sports characteristics and value. It is emphazised in the paper that we should apply modern sports means to creatively develop the game so as to include it in university P.E. course with national characteristics and highlight the education value of the intruction of minority nationalities’ sports into universities in west China.
